Death is always an unavoidable thing.

Jesus grew up to be an amazing adult. He truly lived up to his name being the messiah, even though he didn't want anyone to know it. He would travel all over to help those in need. Jesus was a carpenter, just like his father. People would notice him because he was always hanging around with the marginalized, like prostitutes, tax collectors, and the poor. He was the Son of God, but not everyone believed him. The Roman Empire didn't believe him, and perceived him as a threat to their government. The Romans were after him but I didn't believe that it would be one of his disciples that would betray him. In the garden during the passover dinner, Judas went up to Jesus and kissed him. This identified Jesus for the arresting soldiers who then brought Jesus to Pontius Pilate's soldiers. Pilate did not want to be responsible for Jesus' death so he held a trial for him with the people. They had to chose to release one of the two; Jesus, an imposter or Barabbas, a murderer. They chose to release Barabbas because of pressure from the Romans that were scattered in the crowd. Because of this, Jesus was cruicified on the cross for six days, where I stayed at the foot of the cross until the moment he died. Three days after his death he was resurrected, and now he is sitting next to God in heaven helping with duties. I miss him, but i can't say I'm not proud of where he is today. He saved the world, our world.

Journey to Birth.

A lot of things have happened in this short amount of time, but I'll explain them bit by bit. So, a few ( or more than a few) days ago, I went to visit my best friend, and cousin, Elizabeth. When I arrived at the house of Zechariah, I was shocked! SHE WAS PREGNANT. Last time I checked, she was barren. However, when I went over to her, the holy spirit came upon her and she knew about the divine baby in my womb. She was really happy for me, almost speechless. Then after a while, she said that her baby may have just leaped in her womb. That was when I knew that this was the work of God. I couldn't have been more excited to spend the following 3 months with Elizabeth.

When I returned, Joseph said that we needed to go to Bethlehem to be counted for Caesar Augustus' census because he was from the house and line of David. So we traveled from Nazareth to Judea and then to Bethlehem. I had to accompany him to be counted in Bethlehem because I'm married to Joseph and we're expecting a child. When we were there, I went into labor. And there, I gave birth to my firstborn son. We named him Jesus because when Gabriel, the angel, visited, he included that when the baby was born that his name was to be Jesus. Anyway, I guess we got to Bethlehem a bit late because there was no rooms for us in the Inn. I wraped baby Jesus in cloths and placed him in a manger. I was so happy, my beautiful son was born and was going to save the world.

Strange dream. I'm pregnant?

The strangest thing happened yesterday. An angel, named Gabriel, came to me and he said that I was going to be pregnant with a son. Not just any Son, but the Son of God. I, Mary of Nazareth, am going to give birth to the Son of God, the long awaited Messiah. If you were me would you believe it? I was scared. However, the angel reassured me, and I have complete faith in God, so I am going to follow his orders and have this baby and raise him to the best of my abilities with the help of God(spiritually of course). After this, I had to go tell Joseph, my husband. When i told him, he didn't believe me, and thought I may have cheated on him. So, he told me that he would divorce me quietly rather than have my stoned to death. I didn't want to divorce Joseph, so I hoped that the angel that came to me would go talk to him. This morning Joseph told me that the angel also went to him in his dream and explained everything to him and reassured him. We're going to have this baby, and I can not be more proud.
