A lot of things have happened in this short amount of time, but I'll explain them bit by bit. So, a few ( or more than a few) days ago, I went to visit my best friend, and cousin, Elizabeth. When I arrived at the house of Zechariah, I was shocked! SHE WAS PREGNANT. Last time I checked, she was barren. However, when I went over to her, the holy spirit came upon her and she knew about the divine baby in my womb. She was really happy for me, almost speechless. Then after a while, she said that her baby may have just leaped in her womb. That was when I knew that this was the work of God. I couldn't have been more excited to spend the following 3 months with Elizabeth.When I returned, Joseph said that we needed to go to Bethlehem to be counted for Cae
sar Augustus' census because he was from the house and line of David. So we traveled from Nazareth to Judea and then to Bethlehem. I had to accompany him to be counted in Bethlehem because I'm married to Joseph and we're expecting a child. When we were there, I went into labor. And there, I gave birth to my firstborn son. We named him Jesus because when Gabriel, the angel, visited, he included that when the baby was born that his name was to be Jesus. Anyway, I guess we got to Bethlehem a bit late because there was no rooms for us in the Inn. I wraped baby Jesus in cloths and placed him in a manger. I was so happy, my beautiful son was born and was going to save the world.

ReplyDeleteI love reading this because it's true. Little John DID jump in my womb and it WAS the will of the Lord! I just had to bless you the very first day you came to visit me, because you, my COUSIN, are the mother of the Son of God. It's quite a big deal! Those three months are very cherished in my heart because of all the fun we had, all the stories and accounts of angels we told each other and just chilling with you is always fun!I know you will be a great mom and he is destined for great things, as you already know, of course!

God bless you...it is a blessing to be your fiancee'. I'm glad the baby's father is God, I couldn't accept it if you committed adultery. I will Jesus as if he's my own :).
